At 0209, Cold Spring Fire was dispatched to North Highlands to assist with a second alarm structure fire on Torchia Road. Chief Phillips and Assistant Chief Steltz were at the scene within minutes of the call and conducted an interior search of the property. Our second due engine, 13-2-1, which carried 2,500 gallons of water, established a water supply from Route 9 to the scene. Once the fire was extinguished, CSFC crews helped with the overhaul. We were done and back in service at 06:00.
