| 13-1-2, 13-2-2, and 13-2-1 responded and were on scene within minutes of dispatch. Firefighters began venting the home and investigating the chimney for fire, no fire was found. The chimney had not been cleaned which resulted in the home filling up with smoke. The home was checked for any extension and CSFC was back in service at 13:13.
This serves as a reminder as we get into the cold season to make sure your chimneys are properly cleaned to avoid chimney fires and carbon monoxide issues.
