1 for a possible structure fire at 80 lane gate road. CSFC was clearing a previous call for an oven fire (out on arrival) so we were on the road within seconds of dispatch. While en route to the scene the call was updated to a brush fire along Oak hill drive, off of lane gate road. CSFC arrived and deployed a single length of hose and performed a “pump and roll” with 13-2-2 so we could get closer to the fire due to its proximity to the road. Once close enough crews from CSFC and NHFD deployed hand-lines off of 13-2-2 to contain the fire. The fire was extinguished and hot spots were sprayed and checked for. All units were back in service roughly an hour after dispatch. This serves as a reminder to be very cautious when outdoors as the area around us is very dry this time of year and fires can spread quickly.
