This morning at 8:48 AM, CSFC, Philipstown Ambulance, and North Highlands Engine Co. No. 1 were dispatched to an accident at the intersection of Peekskill Road and Route 9D in Cold Spring. It was a single-vehicle rollover with the driver trapped inside. Upon arriving at the scene, the CSFC crews confirmed the entrapment and worked quickly to stabilize the vehicle and extricate the driver. They completed the rescue, assisted with clean-up and traffic control, and were back in service by 10:07 AM.
