Structure fire in Cold Spring

Tuesday, September, 12, 2023, at 6:07pm CSFC was dispatched to a structure fire on Parsonage street. After a quick arrival of 13-1-1 a confirmed basement fire with smoke showing was found. 13-1-1 used a water extinguisher along with the homeowner using a garden hose, contained the fire until 13-2-2 arrived. 13-2-2 arrived shortly after 13-1-1 and members quickly got water on the fire, knocking it ... House Fire in North Highlands.

Cold Spring Fire was dispatched at 0209 on a mutual aid response to North Highlands for a 2nd alarm structure fire on Torchia Road. Chief Phillips and Assistant Chief Steltz arrived within minutes of the call and assisted with an interior search of the residence. 13-2-1, our 2nd due engine with 2,500 gallons of water on-board, established a water supply from Route 9 to the scene. Structure Fire in Cold Spring

This morning at 0600 CSFC was dispatched to a structure fire on Kemble Avenue in Cold Spring. Upon arrival Chief Phillips and Assistant Chief Steltz reported that the roof had already collapsed and everyone in the home was outside the structure. Storm brings flooding to Cold Spring

July has proven to be a very busy month for Cold Spring Fire so far. Starting Sunday afternoon into the late hours of the night a heavy rain dumped 8+ inches on the village of Cold Spring and surrounding areas. From 3:30 pm to around 12:00 am CSFC members answered roughly 25+ calls to service in the village, ranging from fire alarms, pump outs, gas leaks, elevator rescues, mudslides, trapped residents, ... CO Alarm
Cold Spring Fire Company No. 1, June 04
At 7:55 pm Thursday evening CSFC was dispatched to a CO alarm. Upon arrival of 13-2-2 high levels of CO were found inside the home. Members searched the residence finding the source and opened the house to allow it to air out. CSFC was back in service after about 2 hours.

CSFC Company Drill
Cold Spring Fire Company No. 1, May 16
Tonight’s CSFC company drill was extraction. CSFC members got to practice using the jaws of life, cutters, ram, and other various extrication tools from @holmatrorescue and @milwaukeetool. Thank you to Tow Boss for donating the car we used tonight as well as letting us use their property to cut up the car.
